OUR CREDO

Principles of Health Care Ethics

Number 1: Nonmaleficence

Do No Harm, Benefit Only.

It includes "Harm" in a clinical setting; "Harm" as negligence, and "Harm" as violations of autonomy.

Number 2: Beneficence

We are morally obligated to take positive and direct steps to help others.

Number 3: Autonomy

Recognizing that each person is self-ruling and must be in charge of their own destiny/decisions.

Number 4: Justice
